There are many choices out there on the market today and there are many claims and A LOT of misinformation. We prefer to keep it simple and show exactly what you get with Asheville Standard CBD products.
Things to beware of when searching for a CBD product on the web:
o Some will have 10mg’s / 1ml in a 15ml bottle and try to tell you it is a 300mg bottle. Simple math will tell you it is only 150mg. Our bottles say 300 mg or 600 mg and that is exactly how much is in it.
-Quality and CBD by percentage
o This is why a Certification of Analysis or COA is so important. All Asheville Standard products are third party tested for purity and potency. The percentage of CBD in the actual CBD oil mix believe it or not can be as low as 1% in some cases. You will always have a COA with every batch we make to certify what you are putting into your body.
-Additives and types of Oils
o Better it tastes is not always better for you. Make sure you understand what you are putting in your body. Flavorings and other additives can dull the effectiveness of the oil and defeat the purpose of taking it.
o Full Spectrum Oil vs CBD Isolate vs Broad Spectrum
Full spectrum CBD is an extract that contains all compounds found naturally occurring in the plant, including terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids.
Broad spectrum CBD is a bit of a mix between Full Spectrum CBD and CBD Isolate. Difference being all traces of THC have been removed.
CBD Isolate The purest form of CBD, in which all other plant compounds and cannabinoids have been completely removed.
We believe in a full spectrum product that adheres to state and federal guidelines and the 2019 Farm bill because it delivers every benefit of the plant. To make it even more simple we only add pure, cold pressed hemp seed oil and no artificial flavorings.
